The Feelies
Originally released at the start of a new decade, The Feelies' debut Crazy Rhythms (1980) reconfigured the Downtown sounds of Manhattan towards Hoboken and took them out on an exhilarating road trip. In such fast-moving times, the band's second LP The Good Earth (1986) felt as though it saw the light of day in another era; a little woodier and fuzzier, it is equally as beguiling as its predecessor. Both are essential.
